What To Expect
You’ll meet your entertaining and energetic guide who will give you an introduction to Miami’s epic history. Then we’re off on our adventure to enjoy some of the most popular restaurants and graffiti art Miami’s Wynwood neighborhood has to offer, including entry into the world famous Wynwood Walls.
We’ll visit a French-inspired sandwich haven, La Sandwicherie, before indulging in one of La Sandwicherie’s famous sandwiches. La Sandwicherie features bread delivered 4x daily from a local bakery. Their delectable French baguette is piled with the most wholesome and tasty ingredients. You’ll learn the story behind this local favorite, and taste why locals flock to La Sandwicherie both day and night.
We’ll head down some of Wynwood’s illustrious side streets, checking out many famous murals, including the #freelolita mural by street art duo, Clandestinos.
Stroll up NW 2nd Avenue, Wynwood’s main strip, to Wynwood Marketplace.
We’ll walk up one of the main thoroughfares, NW 2nd Avenue, to Wynwood Marketplace, and stop to check out some more street art, including an Alec Monopoly mural in the heart of Wynwood, plus a large mural by internationally acclaimed street artist, Atomik, across from Wynwood Marketplace. His art features his trademark orange character.
Taco your time.
We’ll visit one of 3 amazing tantalizing taco outposts, Coyo Taco, Bartaco or The Taco Stand. Each of these has its own interesting story, and you can’t go wrong with the corn tortilla-wrapped goodness at any of these local favorites, all rated highly with diners. Each of these establishments prides itself on their fresh ingredients, and interesting versions of this much-loved Mexican street food. After all, shouldn’t we enjoy some street food with our street art? For those purchasing the VIP Craft Drink Package, we’ll have our first signature cocktail or beer (depending on the restaurant).
Not your standard pizza joint.
This is a food tour so we are going to continue to sample only the best food along the route. This time we stop at one of the most well known New York style pizza joints in New York City, Joe’s pizza. For decades, this NYC institution has dominated the NYC pizza scene, and have recently expanded their operations south to Miami. New York’s influence on Miami is well known and includes the food scene. Joe’s is arguably New York’s top pizza joint and people from all over the world, including more celebrities then we can count, have flocked to this institution. We will sample their signature, New York style cheese pizza slice which is full of flavor and has a a thin, crisp crust.
Street art meets award-winning chocolate.
Save room for dessert as we walk to Ben B. Coco, passing by a colorful mural from the Favela Painting Foundation of Rio de Janeiro, which you can’t miss. Ben B. Cocoa is the brainchild of iconic Miami chocolatier, Benjamin Fogel, who can often be found buzzing around the chocolate shop to ensure his guests are satisfied with his world-renowned treats. Ben has won awards and recognition from several foodie organizations for his signature chocolates. We’ll snack on some of Ben’s world-famous chocolates and hear about Ben’s incredible journey into the mastery of chocolate-making.
Enjoy some bites and brews
We will make a stop at one of two notable Miami breweries, both with Latino and tropical roots. We’ll visit either Veza Sur, the maker of the official beer of the NFL Miami Dolphins, or Cervecería La Tropical, serving a Cuban original beer recipe dating back to 1888. We’ll have our last sample of food, and a refreshing, locally-crafted beer for those on the VIP Craft Drink Package. Both establishments offer outdoor seating to take advantage of our usually great Miami weather.
Ending the tour on a high note, Wynwood Walls.
We finish the tour with art-only, and one of the highlights of the tour. Wynwood Walls is known as the place that ignited the Wynwood street art movement, eventually making Wynwood the most densely graffiti-tagged area in the world. Opened in 2009 by visionary developer Tony Goldman, Wynwood Walls features striking street art from the best, international talents, inspiring street artists to spray the rest of the walls of Wynwood. Your guide will choose some of the most significant pieces at Wynwood Walls, and give you an in-depth look at the artist, the intention, and anything else notable about the work.
The walking food tour will conclude with some suggestions for the rest of your visit and other great places to eat in the Miami area.

Wynwood started to become a focal point for local artists all the way back in the 1980s, but it wasn’t until Tony Goldman opened Wynwood Walls to the world’s best street artists in 2009 that the street art culture spread like wildfire. And eventually the art took over the walls of the entire neighborhood. Any serious Wynwood tour must stop at Wynwood Walls, as we will.
We’ll also catch a few of the most notable murals displayed on some of Wynwood’s other walls along our route. But let’s not forget the food, because we know you love to eat and you probably chose this particular tour because you wanted to try some of Miami’s best bites without having to do all of the research yourself. We stop at several of the best local foodie havens that are the best, not only for Wynwood, but for Miami as a whole.
